Joe’s Van

Despite Kyle’s assumption that Joe’s van is a high-tech Citadel vehicle, Bernard bursts his bubble, revealing that it’s just an ordinary van. Bernard even jokes that the van has an 8-track. Bernard and Kyle travel in Joe’s van from Wyoming to Manticore’s HQ in New York City, where Kyle ultimately retrieves the X Case. Later, they’re chased in the van by Davik. Just as Kyle is about to restore his memories using the vial from the X Case, the van is shot up by Davik. Struck by the bullet, Bernard loses control of the van and it crashes into the concrete divider.
