Where does your writing inspiration come from, and how do you develop fresh ideas daily?
@davidjonphotography
My writing inspiration comes from people - those in my life, those I observe. I’m constantly people-watching. The joke among my friends is if I’m is silent too long, I’m plotting how to use our conversation or us in some movie or series I’m is writing. :) In all seriousness it is not about developing fresh ideas daily. It is about getting into the skin of the character you are writing and being true to themselves on that journey.
Can writing comedy be learned or is it reserved for naturally witty people?
@garimellanush
Anything can be learnt, as long as you have the inclination for it @garimellanush. And in the case of comedy, a willingness to have a good laugh or at least orient yourself to a lighthearted bent of mind is important. There are two sides to any situation—serious and fun!

Do you follow any specific template for writing pivotal action sequences?
@rahulnila
It depends entirely on the character/s. For example, in the climax of Citadel: Honey Bunny, I wanted it to circle back to where Honey first started—her palace home—because it symbolically tied into the larger theme of ‘family’ that runs through the story universe. It made sense for Nadia’s parents to come together as one unit to protect her in the home Honey has always known. And since it was the only sequence where Honey and Rahi were together, it had to showcase their incredible synergy and teamwork. Thereafter, it was about telling a story through the climax action.
How did you write Honey and Bunny's flashbacks?
@raguthesauce_08
By writing extensive back stories for each character. Honey’s back story could fit an entire series! And so could Bunny’s :)

Who was the inspiration for the character of Bunny?
@thehijabibounder
It wasn’t someone in particular but a few characteristics—a man who longs for family having lost his at a very young age. He thinks he finds one with his mentor, Baba (Father), only to realize he’s on the wrong side of the law. Bunny’s incredible sense of loyalty and skill drives him to be the best at what he does.
As a writer, which aspect of the Citadel universe appealed to you when writing the story?
@rajanishsharma_
Oh, many! Crafting Honey, little Nadia, Bunny, his lifelong friends Chako and Ludo; his mentor and the immensely fascinating Guru; and how they all tied into the larger Citadel universe!

What was it like incorporating a younger version of Nadia into Honey Bunny?
@casegod
It was pretty exciting! We knew who Nadia turned out to be in the US show. But who was she as a child? How did she shape up to be who she became? That was pretty much a blank canvas for me to paint on!
