Amir is in the middle of dinner with a coterie of female guests when Shadek leads Farhad into the dining room. Shadek places a bloody napkin on the table before Amir, unwrapping it to reveal Farhad’s severed finger. Farhad is offering it up for his failure to bring in Rake.
