Yaz is not only a member of Nik’s mercenary team, but also her brother. He interfaces with Saju over the money transfer, and is the first one to realize that their team has been played. During the final standoff on the bridge, Yaz pilots the exfil chopper that attempts to retrieve Rake from the bridge. But before he can land, his co-pilot is shot in the head and he’s forced to abort the chopper’s descent.
